 Coorg is known as 'The Scotland of India'. With its rolling emerald hills, babbling mountain brooks, aromatic coffee estates, enthralling orange tree plantations, its renowned cuisine and friendly people, it is a place that is deemed as the perfect getaway. The valley with its rich fertile soil is a heaven for crops like spices, rubber, teak, vanilla etc. The natural forests of Coorg are known for its thick foliage and greenery.

BY TRAIN : The nearest railhead from Coorg is Mysore, which is 55kms in distance. It takes two and half hour drive from the place to reach the hill station.

Madikeri Fort The majestic fort was initially built of mud.It was then replaced by a concrete stone by the mighty ruler Tipu Sultan.The walls of the fort still preserves the palace of the Lingayat rulers.

Raja's Seat A popular place of the earlier rulers as it used to offer breathtaking views of the sunset,surrounding dills and verdant fields.Today this place has taken the shape of a lovely public garden and serves as a perfect gateway for the tourists to enjoy the scenic views.

Omkareshwara Temple This 200 years old temple is a beautiful fusion of Islamic and Gothic styles of architecture.

A charming picnic spot, Abbey Falls is situated 8kms away from Madikeri.

Animals like elephants, tigers, gaur, sloth, cheetal, leopards, dholes, jackals and others are found in the reserve. It is also a house of large number of avifaunal species such as the crested serpent eagle, red-wattled lapwings, crested hawk eagle, king vulture, Malabar grey hornbill and Nightjars. Certain species of butterfly can also be spotted including the common leopard butterfly.

      ALLEPPEY:  Means a land between the sea, where a network of rivers flow in it.

ABOUT THE CITY:  The city is established on a narrow land between the Arabian Sea and Vembanad Lake. The numerous waterways, lagoons, backwaters, canals and lakes of Alleppey has given it a name as "VENICE OF THE EAST".

BEST TIME TO VISIT: Between the months of August- February. If your plan includes spending significant time on a boat in the backwaters, Alleppey is fun to travel through May, June and July.

St George Seemati Store in Alleppey is famous for wide varieties of gold-bordered saris at reasonable prices. Coconut oil, areca nut, cardamom and sugar are famous brand of the Mullackal Shopping spot. This market is also well-known for lime, jasmine and sandalwood products.

    Murthal is a small town in Sonepat district of Haryana in northern India and around 50kilometers from the national capital New Delhi. The word Muthal have been originated from the compound word "Mayur Sthal" a peacocks live in abundance.
    Murthal is also known for its University "CR State College of Engineering". The college was the Second engineering college in 1980s in Haryana. Since then the college has evolved into "DeshBandhu Chottu Ram University of Science and Technology".

    In the Dhabas you can have all kinds of North Indian Vegetarian food. Some of the best dhabas to visit in Murthal are:
